ABOUT US:
Thomas Anthony Eyeington, Jr. P. E., S.E.C.B., has been a construction industry professional since 1998. He has been registered as a professional engineer in Texas since 2003. He is also currently registered in Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Arizona. He is certified as a qualified structural engineer by the Structural Engineering Certification Board (SECB).
Mr. Eyeington has considerable experience as a consultant in private practice. He has been providing structural engineering services since 2005. The projects have included the structural design of buildings and facilities of various uses from private dams to salt water disposals for the oil and gas industry. He also has several years of previous civil, structural, and mechanical engineering experience as an employee for a global building materials company.
Mr. Eyeington is a graduate of Texas A&M University, Class of 1995, with a civil engineering degree, with a structural emphasis. He graduated with a MBA from the University of Texas – Dallas in 2002. He continued his education and has a master of science degree in civil / structural engineering in 2005 from Kansas State University.
Staying current with changes in technology, codes, and practices is a challenge in the engineering profession. Mr. Eyeington addresses this need through continuing education, membership in professional organizations and by other means such as a Diversity of Design Challenges. Mr. Eyeington is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Texas (SEAoT), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Concrete Institute (ACI), American Institute for Steel Construction (AISC), and American Welding Society (AWS).
